Welcome Letter
Welcome friend!
You arrived at the Women’s Community Bible Study site, I’m so glad you’re here!
Women’s Community Bible Study (WCBS) is a group of nearly 500 women from different churches and denominations, ages, and ethnic backgrounds who share three common goals: a desire to know God better; to
live fruitful lives honoring to our Lord Jesus Christ; and to become equipped to share His life and love with others. Our meetings are held weekly at Peachtree Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
But guess what? You don’t have to travel to Atlanta to join us. This web site can be your cyber-link to WCBS. Through the “miracle” of technology, you can be a part of us no matter where you live. And
I hope you will!
All of the resources that I, and our other WCBS teachers, share each week will be posted on this web site. You’ll find helpful materials whether you are a leader of a bible study group or whether you
are a brand new Christian. You can also find weekly testimonials, devotionals, and online bible lessons and discussions that I know will inspire you and might also be helpful to your group.
Do you live in or near Atlanta? I would love to meet you personally at our weekly WCBS meetings. You can register to become a member of WCBS (click on “Register” on the home page) and once someone contacts
you, they will give you directions to our classes.
If you can’t join us in person, please meet with us weekly through this web site. Bookmark the WCBS site in your web browser so you can find us easily and access the weekly teaching commentaries. You
can always keep up with what we’re studying each week by clicking on the “Schedule” link at top.
Even if you become part of the WCBS fellowship via the Internet, I hope you will allow us to serve you in whatever way we can. Because our goal is not only to train disciples of Jesus, but to help others
train disciples as well.
Again, thank you for dropping by the WCBS web site! I hope you’ll be part of our fellowship in person or online in the months ahead. Because our WCBS leadership team prays for those who visit our web
site, you have already been prayed for—and I ask that you pray for us as well. Our desire is that our ministry in Atlanta, and around the world via this web site, would spread the gospel of Jesus Christ
and advance His kingdom by building up the saints in the truths of His Word.
May God bless you as you seek to know Him and make Him known!
